Improving Access to Education
Information, assistance, and everything you need for your journey in higher education
Our ServicesOur Experience
Shared Ambition & Collaborative Learning
Our group communicated with think tanks, lobbying firms, policy workers, and figures at the Department of Education to educate ourselves on how to achieve our shared goal of equity in higher education. Understanding all perspectives of the education crisis has enabled us to do what we think will help this issue in an educated manner.
Policy in Higher Education
We researched past, current, and upcoming legislation regarding higher education and how these bills will transform the college system. From financial aid to DEI, we have gained an understanding of the way education as we know it is being dramatically altered. Our work in policy includes advocating in the senate for the Pell Grant Expansion and Restoration Act, a bill we believe will provide integral assistance to underprivileged college applicants.
Discrimination in Higher Education
Our track met with professors and researchers who highlighted how the colleges often fails to uplift those in their communities who need the most support. Statistics show that first generation college students of color have lower GPAs than other students and fail or drop out of their courses at higher rates than the rest of the campus population. This website helps provide information necessary to thriving in college that can often be difficult to access.
We help aspiring K-12 and beyond students conquer finances and decisions
With FutureU, we’ll provide a concentrated page with the materials and information you need to succeed pursuing education.
A Guide to Financial Aid
Our goal is to provide easy access and reference to financial aid opportunities for students to use throughout their college process. Financial aid can be difficult to navigate, which is why we have videos explaining things like how to fill out the FAFSA form and links to important resources such as scholarship opportunities.
Test Prep + CollegeBoard Resources
Standardized testing can be confusing when it comes to deciding whether to take the SAT or the ACT. Preparing for these exams can be even more stressful. We strive to lighten the load of students by providing them with proper study materials and other resources to help them succeed on these exams.
Admissions Guidance
We hope to make students’ college journey easier by providing them with the necessary resources needed for them to succeed. We offer tutorials on how to fill out the Common Application, advice on athletic opportunities, and blogs written by students for students about their own experiences with higher education.
